I was tasked with designing the centerpiece for Otherworld Philadelphia, in its largest room. It needed to have clear, comfortable walkways, hanging lights and a reflecting pond all while still being instantly recognizable as a tree.

I used Rhino and Blender to design this simple and structurally sound shape that allowed the led strips to cover a lot of area at once with minimal overlap. The model was used by a fabrication company to produce the tree.
